The Stainless Steel Pneumatic Actuator uses a rack and pinion drive structure and a widened guide PTFE slide design to greatly increase output torque output efficiency. The adjustable range of bidirectional angles up to ±10° can meet the needs of all types of rotary valves. The bottom connection is ISO5211 compliant and can be mounted directly on top of ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, etc. The solenoid valve interface on the top and side of the actuator complies with the mamur norm standard, making it easier to install control accessories such as solenoid valves, triplex and limit switches.
Before selecting a pneumatic actuator, check the valve torque. And increase the safety value on the torque, and increase the safety value by 25% for water vapor or non-lubricated liquid medium; The safety value of non-lubricating slurry liquid media is increased by 30%.
The torque of the selected valve is 210NM, the air source pressure is only 5bar, the medium is non-lubricated water vapor, considering the safety factors, increase the safety value value by 25%, that is, 262NM, according to the double-acting output torque table to find the corresponding torque value when the air source pressure is 5bar. 277NM should be used.
